Summer Activity holiday Villaroger, Les Arcs

The French Alps and the Tarentaise Valley is a beautiful area to enjoy the unspoilt, breathtaking scenery and soak up the glorious sunshine. There are endless activities for you and your family to enjoy here at our Chalet in Villaroger, Les Arcs. We offer  cycling, mountain biking and walking breaks or a relaxed family retreat. Whatever the reason is for visiting, our chalet is the perfect location for a fabulous Summer Chalet Holiday.

Situated on the edge of the Vanoise National Park the walking is endless and offer walks and hikes to suit all levels.

Lifts are open July and August to enable you to get the height without much effort.

We offer guided walking weeks where all you have to do is WALK… we look after you making all your meals and ensuring you have a fabulous time.

We are lucky enough to be on the doorstep of some of the Famous Cols that have been featured on the Tour De France.

Cyclists can ride straight from the Chalet door to cycle Col D’Iseran, Col de Petit St Bernard, Cormet de Roselend and Col De Madeleine to name a few.

We can offer catered Alps Cycling Holidays where we look after you, i.e. cook all your meals, offer vehicle support meaning all you have to do is PEDAL.

Les Arcs is well known for mountain biking, and single track actually runs to and from the Village. There is a cycle path most of the way from Villaroger to Bourg St Maurice and beyond.

Les Arcs’ lifts open early July through to the end of August to enable you to “climb the mountain the easy way” then cycle right back to the Chalet door.

Lots of forest trails and Parks you can also bike in Tignes, Val d’Isere and Sainte Foy. You can also bike from France to Italy via La Rosiere

There is also Summer Skiing on the Glacier in Tignes during July and August. You could have a great ski in the morning and then sunbathe in the afternoon.

Close to the River Isere you have the chance to White Water Raft or Hydrospeed during your stay.

We also have High Rope Adventure 5 mins from the Chalet, Parapenting, Kayaking, and Horseriding.

Local Golf courses include Tignes ( Highest Tee in Europe) , Les Arcs and La Rosiere.

Lots of things geared for children during July and August including: Bouncy castles, Tyre-Riding, Archery, Street Carnivals, Circus and Fetes.

In Bourg Saint Maurice, 15 minutes drive away, we have the Olympic size indoor pool, as well as two outdoor pools and many restaurants locally boast their own pool.

Take a day trip to Italy over the Col De Petit St Bernard with stunning views and scenery en route.

Enjoy an Italian lunch and maybe visit the historic town of Aosta.

We have a lake for bathing only 20 minutes away, not forgetting a day trip to Stunning  Annecy which is only 1.5 hours away.

All in all, whether you would like to relax at the chalet and take things easy, or enjoy full-on activities, Skivillaroger is an ideal location.
