26th Dec 2009

The weather has been very cold in the past two weeks which has kept the ground cold. We have had quite a bit of fresh snow and Villaroger opened this week.

We have been busy during the last couple of weeks, and Xmas week has been really enjoyable and even busier. The dinner went down really well and Andy was chief carver of the turkey.

My dad came out for Xmas and we went to Villaroger for a ski yesterday and a drink at La Ferme. We skied powder as the runs were covered in fresh snow and the girls were wearing their new outfits from the Ski Club. The best snow has definitely been in Les Arcs over Xmas , or Val and Tignes.

We went to Villaroger square for the live nativity and Santa’s visit. It felt really christmassy and the children loved it.

Jonny has just returned from a good boxing day ski in Les Arcs. The pistes were empty and in good condition.

The stag came into our garden today , and we fed him some bread. He was so close as you can see.

Here are some photos from the week.
