Jonny has completed successfully The Piste2Plage Challenge. Thankyou to everyone for your support, encouragement and donations for Help4Heros. We have to date raised over £327,000 between us and had an amazing experience and adventure.
It started with a wet day on the wednesday and 3km from the top of the Col D’Iseran it started to snow. It was a blizzard with strong winds. The snow settled on the road after 15 mins. Some riders got blown off the bikes, others suffered from the cold. It was freezing conditions.
The weather got better . however the next day there was pleny of snow on the Col du Galibier and once again very cold for the riders.
The team of 160 riders were amazing , all finishing in adverse conditions.
