We have done 2 Tour Des Grandes Alpes this year with guests on their road bikes.
They have ridden over 30,000 ft of ascent in a week over the famous Cols of the French Alps from Geneva Switzerland, down to Juan Les Pins in the South of France.
Both trips have been a great success and lots of fun. Have a look at
www.marginalgainsalpinecycling.com
for details on our cycling holidays, chalet based or tours.
You can follow Skivillaroger on Facebook and Twitter And keep up with what’s going on here in Villaroger!
Check out our SKIVILLAROGER video too, lots of laughs making it!
The Fete went well, no float this year as both girls wanted to help on the stalls. I did my usual baking and helped on the Patisserie stand. I was Crepe queen , probably making well over 100 of them.
There was a ball afterwards with live music.
The Goyet restaurant in Villaroger has been open in July and August. He changed his menu and I think this Winter it will be a great option for Chalet Night Off!
Anneha and I cycled up to La Rosiere the other other day. We met a man who was cycling from Lyon to Bosnia. He was inspirational, travelling on his own with all his kit and tent in Paniers on his bike. We had a coffee with him and then waved him off for his next stint. Think he will have made it by now so would like to say well done and lovely meeting you!
Fifi has started secondary school this week. She appears to be settling in well, but the 6am wake up times are a bit of a shock to the system. Anneha is used to them now but Fifi has got some adjusting to do.
Its Anneha’s birthday in October and she really wants to do a taster session on the Track at the Velodrome in Manchester. She is still Sky mad and currently watching the Tour of Britain and The Vuelta in Spain.
Looking forward to this coming season, lots of availability, including Pre Xmas and Xmas so hope we hear from you soon.
