27 Jan DECEMBER – BEST START TO THE SEASON FOR 30 YEARS
We have had a fantastic start to the season here in Villaroger. Les Arcs and Villaroger opened on time on the 10th December. Its not stopped snowing since.
We have the new snow cannons in Villaroger but we don’t need them right now as snow is falling daily.
The new lift “Pre de Saint Esprit”is great out of Arc 1950 and has heated seats and a camera that takes your photo half way up. It goes higher up the mountain than the old one and is much faster finishing above the Arcabulle lift.
Next year we are hoping Comborciere lift will be replaced meaning the Rhonaz track will be a great way to get to Arc1600.
Snow coverage everywhere is excellent and we have even had some powder days.
The girls finish on the 22nd Dec for Xmas and we are looking forward to some holiday time with them. Anneha is in her last year at school and Fifi the last year of College before moving up to Lycée.
La Ferme in Villaroger is open but no Mutsig this year which will be disappointing for the guests as they love it. Some live music to look forward to and a bit of apres ski.
The Off Piste Development week is in January and we still have availability , as well as on the Ski Touring week too.
