23 May BEST SNOW SEASON IN 30 YEARS – APRIL
It’s official we have definitely had the best snow conditions this year for over 30 years. We are still skiing down to the bottom of Villaroger ( no downloading) and it is the 14th April. They have extended the closing date to April 22nd as a result and conditions are so good.
Jonny and I skied powder yesterday and it was like January conditions. We still have not had much sun so the snow has kept well.
We have had a good season with great guests and met some lovely new people. Thank you to you all for visiting and making it a successful one.
Les Arcs is open until the 28th April with cheaper lift passes that week.
Val D’Isere and Tignes are open until the beginning of May.
We are looking forward to visiting family in May in the Uk. Some have visited us this year but many we have not seen since December. The girls are excited to do some shopping too.
We need to do some work outside this year replacing a terrace and some new garden furniture for the chalet.
The chalet is available this Summer on a self catered basis if anyone would like a Summer Activities holiday, or just come and relax in the mountains and enjoy the views and scenery.
Bookings are starting to come in for Winter 2018/2019 so book early to get the dates you want.
