29th January 2016

The end of January has arrived too quickly. Lots of lovely guests have been and gone and we have had more snow, infact lots more snow.

Conditions have improved lots and weve had numerous powder days here in the Valley.

We’ve skied over to Italy a few times and had a lovely lunch at the beautiful Maison Laurent Restaurant

Our new menu is going down well with the Crispy Duck with a bean and Chirizo Cassoulet proving to be a favourite.

Its worth all the hard work testing recipes for  the menu during the Summer to have guests say they loved our last Duck recipe but this beats it.

Favourite so far on the dessert front is Lime and Coconut Jeliies with mango Coulis.

Im on my new Scott skis and loving them. They are called “the ski” and have got good reviews. Im very pleased with them.

I actually lost one of my favourite skis last week. As a lot of you will know my all time favourite ski are my K2 Miss behaves and i put them in the back of the truck and forgot to put the back up on the truck and drove from Ste Foy to home.

Unforunately when i got home i only had 1 ski.

I retraced my steps but to no avail.

24 hours later Jonny found it propped up against the Ski pass Office in Villaroger, someone had obviously picked it up and left it there to be found.

I was sooo lucky. I love those skis.

Our Village Le Loissel is looking really pretty with the fairy lights and some of our neighbours have put lights up too.

Come and see us soon, dont forget we do long weekends and short breaks and check us out on Twitter and Facebook …. SKIVILLAROGER.
