We went back to the UK for Anneha’s birthday treat at Manchester Velodrome ,home to British Cycling. She and Jonny had a taster session there for one hour and she loved it.
We managed to see some of the British team training including Laura Trott and Jason Kenny. They got a real feel for the track, cannot believe how steep it is on the sides. Great afternoon and well worth a visit.
Fifi has settled into secondary school and enjoyig the independance it brings. She seems to have grown up in the last 6 weeks.
We’ve had our first snow here in the Alps, always happens when its the girls school holidays. Just a dusting but its started and we are now on Countdown.
Val D’Isere opens 29th Nov, as does Tignes, Les Arcs Paradiski and Sainte Foy open 13th Dec 2014. La Rosiere too.
We are changing one of the bathrooms this time ready for the start. New suite and tiles so it will look good we hope.
The wood is in, painting done and I’m on with the menu as we speak.
We open 4th Dec this year and have lots of availability.
