1st Sept 2013

Villaroger and Les Arcs have started work on the pistes in Villaroger to make a nursery area with a little drag lift at the top of the first lift in Villaroger. They are also widening some of the pistes down the Villaroger side. That’s great news for us as it means beginners can take lessons in Villaroger or Sainte Foy now.

They are putting in snow cannons all the way down the pistes  from the Lanchettes in Arc 2000. This means snow  will be consistent all the way through to the end of season in April, although it has been great for the past 3 years anyway.

We have been trying out some new recipes for the coming season. Fi is fab at meringues and Anneha made a great courgette cake the other day. We have an abundance of courgettes from our neighbours so great to find a new way of using them. Click here for the recipe!

Girls are back to school this week, having had nearly 10 weeks off..Hurray. Fi is back to Sainte Foy and Anneha Bourg St Maurice.

Lovely to see Angela and Stephen Fry this week. Stephen ran the Trace des Ducs de Savoie, a massive race over the Cols that took him 22 hours. He was the first British man past the finish line in the Vets category.. Well done him. The Ultra Trail Mont Blanc  took place this week too. Big respect to all who completed it.

Short ski breaks seem to be the thing this month as bookings and enquiries coming in for these, still got New Year and Half Term availability as well as other weeks so please get in touch!
