We have had a great action packed Summer here in le Loissel, Villaroger. The weather has been great and we have made the most of it.
A highlight was white water rafting in Bourg Saint Maurice with H2O ( rafting company) We all went (Fifi included) with friends and it was amazing. We had to jump off a 10m cliff and swim downriver which was fun.
Lifts in Les Arcs, Tignes, La Rosiere and the first lift in Sainte Foy have been open for mountain biking , walking, hiking etc. We tried out the electric mountain bikes which were great and really opens up mountain biking to everyone at anytime, not just when the lifts are open. At 30 euros for the morning we think its a good price for a few hours of fun.
Anneha and I learnt how to wakeboard this Summer in a little lake 40 mins from the chalet. They have the wire to help you learn how to stand, turn etc. Another summer activity we highly recommend. Hoping to do it on Lake Annecy next Summer
We have been painting and decorating in the chalet, stairs are all done as well as doors and its looking good.
Villaroger has had all new snow cannons put in this year down the red run from Solliet Restaurant down to the Village so no reason why Villaroger will not be opening on time this year. They have also widened a lot of the runs which will make it much better for beginner skiers here in Les Arcs, Paradiski.
The first lift continues to be free so BARGAIN
