12th Jan 2010

We have had lots of snow over the last couple of weeks, meaning conditions have been fab with lots of powder. We have skied Les Arcs and Ste Foy and all the guests have had skiing that only comes once a blue moon. As its been cold the snow has been very light , which makes amazing conditions.

The last few days have been sunshine and blue skies. We had a trip to Italy and the views were breathtaking with the cloud hanging in the Valley bottom. When we left Le Loissel that morning it was zero visibility but as we climed to above 1600m we popped out of the cloud to sunshine and blue skies, unbelievable!!!

The ski was great all the way down and we stopped off at our favourite coffee stop (or bombadino stop I should say) followed by pizza for lunch.

Our New Year guests were the first of the year to brave the Basin, not only once but a couple of times during the week.

Staggy is still coming down to the house and we get a glimpse of him most days.

Both girls are skiing with Club now, and love their new outfiits which Father Christmas brought. Fi has got new skis too and although quite a bit longer than her old ones, is handling them well.

Congratulations again to Vicky and Rob who got engaged on the slopes at NY. Champagne certainly flowed that night.

Here is a video taken NY week in Villaroger, click here to see it!

Here are a few pics from the last couple of weeks.
