Tour de France was amazing .. Well done to Chris Froome and Team Sky winning the Tour for a second time.

We went to watch it on a few Stages.

Jonny and Anneha rode Alpe D’Huez and said the atmosphere was amazing. Everyone was cheering them on and the crowds were enormous.

It was a nerve racking stage due to Quintana’s attack on the last climb.

Next year there is a rumour it will come very close to us, over the  Col de Petit St Bernard and finishing in one of our local villages. Fingers crossed it is.

You can come and stay in the chalet and see it for yourselves.

Ski club training for the Summer has been and gone, Anneha did some mountain biking for a change as well as walking and swimming. She  enjoyed the Arenalin of it. She did it in Les Arcs and rode all the way back down to the chalet via Les Arcs 2000.

We had a lovely day out at La Bellieu Fume Restaurant in Les Arcs for a leaving get together for our friend Fi who has moved to Mauritius!

The restaurant is one of the best on the mountain in Winter, and also in Summer as it has a swimming pool.

We walked there from Villaroger, through the forest with the kids.

We had a gorgeous meal of figs and goats cheese, prawns and noodles and steak.

We then chilled out with a bottle of Rose around the pool .. heaven.

We’ve not headed to Annecy much this last 2 months as my dad has been ill in the UK so have been spending time with him.

Last month of the school hols and we are making the most of it.. Excellent weather with temperatures in the 30’s.
